At a hundred seconds the question stops being how fast you can click and becomes whether anything about you or your hardware changes while you do it.

It is long enough to make an automated clicker obvious, because machine-regular intervals stand out clearly over a run this size.

It is also long enough to expose hardware. A switch that only misbehaves occasionally will usually do it at least once before the clock runs out.
Common questions
What should I expect over 100 seconds?
4 to 6 CPS is a good sustained result, and most people finish meaningfully below where they opened. The absolute number matters less here than whether the trace stays flat.
Why would anyone run a 100 second click test?
Three reasons, none of them about a high score: confirming a rate is genuinely sustainable, checking an auto clicker's steadiness over a long window, and giving an intermittent hardware fault enough time to show itself.
My trace has sudden tall spikes. What causes those?
A spike means two clicks arrived unusually close together. Occasionally that is you double-tapping by accident. If it keeps happening and the gap is very short, the switch may be bouncing and registering one press as two, which the double-click test is built to answer specifically.
