Drag Click Test
Count the clicks you generate in a single drag.
How it works
- 01
Drag clicking uses friction between your finger and the mouse button to make the switch bounce rapidly during a single dragging motion.
- 02
Press and drag across the surface in one movement. The tool counts every click event that motion produced.
- 03
Anything above roughly 15 clicks in one drag means the technique is working. A handful means the switch is not bouncing.
Common questions
Why is drag clicking not working for me?
It depends heavily on hardware. Smooth-coated buttons grip poorly, and switches with a firm tactile bump resist bouncing. Mice known for drag clicking have a specific matte texture.
Does drag clicking damage your mouse?
It shortens switch life considerably. You are deliberately causing the exact bounce behaviour that marks a worn-out switch.
Is drag clicking allowed on servers?
It varies. Many Minecraft servers ban it alongside auto clickers because the click rate is indistinguishable from automation.
