Privacy Policy

We don't collect your data. Here is exactly what that means.

The short version

clicktest.pro is a set of measuring tools, and that is all it is. Every test runs inside your browser. Your clicks, your timings and your scores are never uploaded, never stored on a server and never linked to you. There are no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no advertising and no third-party scripts of any kind.

The only information we ever receive is what you deliberately type into the contact form — and only if you choose to use it.

What happens when you run a test

Clicking, tapping or pressing a key fires an event that your browser hands to the page. The page counts it and records the time it happened, using variables that live in your device's memory for as long as the tab is open.

When you reload the page or close the tab, that memory is discarded. Nothing is written to disk, nothing is sent over the network, and nothing is kept for us to look at later. This is also why the site has no leaderboards or saved history: we would have to collect your results to build them, so we don't build them.

What is stored on your device

One thing, and it never leaves your device: your light or dark theme choice, saved in your browser's local storage under the key ctp-theme with a value of light or dark.

Local storage is not a cookie and is not transmitted with requests — it exists so the site does not flash the wrong colours at you on your next visit. Clearing your browser's site data for clicktest.pro removes it.

Cookies and trackers

We set no cookies at all.Not advertising cookies, not analytics cookies, not “strictly necessary” cookies. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to.

There is no analytics product measuring your visit, no advertising network, no social media pixel, no session recording, no fingerprinting and no email or push list. We do not sell, rent, share or trade information about you, because we do not have any.

Third-party requests

The site loads no external resources. The fonts are downloaded once when the site is built and served from our own domain, so visiting a page does not tell Google, or anyone else, that you were here.

You do not have to take our word for it. Open your browser's developer tools, switch to the Network tab and reload any page on this site: every request goes to clicktest.pro and nowhere else.

Server logs

To be complete and honest: the pages themselves are files served by our hosting provider, Vercel. Like every web server on the internet, it processes the technical details of the connection — IP address, browser user agent, the URL requested and the time — in order to send the page back to you and to block abuse.

We have not enabled any analytics or visitor-tracking layer on top of that, we do not build profiles from it, and it is not combined with anything you do inside a test. This is the irreducible minimum of serving a web page, and it is the only point at which your device talks to a server at all.

If you contact us

The contact form is the one place on this site where you can hand us information. If you send a message we store, in our database: your email address, the message itself, the time it arrived, and your name if you choose to give one — the name field is optional and the form works without it.

The email address is required, for the plain reason that we cannot reply to you without one. It is used to answer your message and nothing else: it is not added to a mailing list, not used for marketing, and not shared with or sold to anyone.

We do not store your IP address. It is held in memory for a few seconds to stop the form being flooded, and is never written to the database. Nothing from the tests themselves — no scores, no timings, no click data — is attached to a message. You can ask us to delete your message at any time and we will.

Children

The tools are safe for anyone to use because they collect nothing. The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly store contact messages from them. If a child has sent us a message, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we ever add something that touches your data — an analytics tool, a saved score, anything — this page is updated in the same change, and the date below moves. We are not going to quietly start collecting things and leave this page standing.
